Seasonal Touring caravan pitches for 2019

From 1st March 2019 to 31st October 2019 we are offering just 5 touring caravan seasonal pitches overlooking Heron Pool.
Each pitch will have a Smartmeter supplying electricity and two pitches will also include a mains water connection.
You choose a 26 week block within the dates outlined above and you can be one of the very few who can stay with us and enjoy some superb fishing while soaking up the tranquil surroundings of our lovely site.
This can be yours for 26 weeks next year for 1000 which includes fishing for two people.

Established as a fishery management and coarse fish supply company in 1990, we added angling holidays to the portfollio in 2006.
We have many years experience in the anglers requirements for a pleasant break.

We can offer superb holidays in our fully centrally heated luxury lodge and our five individual touring caravan pitches to let.

Why not talk to us about our lake side seasonal pitches for 2019.

At Gayton Road Fisheries you will find a two acre 'Mallard lake' and a three quarter acre 'Fun fishery' called Heron Pool, and a half acre 'Float Fishery' called Kingfisher Pond.

The overall site is 10 acres with three lakes and ponds covering a total area of three and a half acres, this tells you there is plenty of space for five caravans and a couple of lodges and with more than 30 swims available to fish, long gone are the days when you have to be up and fishing by 6am just to get some fishing in whilst you are on holiday; here we can assure you there is plenty of room for all.

It can all be found in the heart of rural West Norfolk, 5 miles East of King's Lynn.

Gayton Road Fisheries has been featured on the tv show 'Go Fishing' and has been recommended by the late John Wilson MBE (See picture - left).

GRF Angling update December 2018

The Mallard lake is the only water being fished at the moment by a few season permit holders because we don't have anyone holidaying with us at the moment. The Carp are still very willing to feed with most anglers recording 3 or 4 runs in each session. The catches are made up of fish in the 8lb to14lb range, the larger fish are still avoiding capture.

GRF Angling update January 2019

We are in the middle of a fishery management project which will see more consistent catches and improvement of the sport on all three fisheries.
We have had a major tidy up of the banks and around the islands in Mallard Lake, trimmed up the lily beds and we are in the process of removing some of the excess silver fish.
This will allow the Tench and Carp to thrive and be caught on more regular basis.
Heron Pool is also undergoing a bankside tidy up and work will start on swim maintenace in the near future.
We started with the tree cutting and trimming on Kingfisher Pond and the bankside vegetation is now back to a more manageable level. This has resulted in more light on the water and in turn we hope it will encourage the Tench to feed more freely.
Clearing the swims has made it much easier for careful presentation by the float angler.

Unlike most other fisheries we have a log book for the fishing which everyone is encouraged to fill in and make comments. This means you can see exactly how the fishery is performing on arrival and not be a recipent of the old phase, "Oh! you should have been here last week it fished it's head off, but this week it's gone very quiet".

Low Season Holiday Deals
