Welcome to Gayton Road Fisheries

Established as a fishery management and coarse fish supply company in 1990, we added angling holidays to the portfollio in 2006.
We have many years experience in the anglers requirements for a pleasant break.

We can offer superb holidays in our fully centrally heated luxury lodge and our five individual touring caravan pitches to let.

At Gayton Road Fisheries you will find a two acre 'Specimen lake' and a three quarter acre 'Fun fishery' called Heron Pool, and a half acre 'Float Fishery' called Kingfisher Pond.

The overall site is 10 acres with three lakes and ponds covering a total area of three and a half acres, this tells you there is plenty of space for five caravans and a couple of lodges and with more than 30 swims available to fish, long gone are the days when you have to be up and fishing by 6am just to get some fishing in whilst you are on holiday; here we can assure you there is plenty of room for all.

It can all be found in the heart of rural West Norfolk, 5 miles East of King's Lynn.

Gayton Road Fisheries has been featured on the tv show 'Go Fishing' and has been recommended by John Wilson MBE (See picture - left).

GRF Angling update 17/05/17
The past few weeks have been a very mixed bag as far as the onsite fishing is concerned.
The most consistent water is Kingfisher Pond where the Tench, Carp, Rudd, Roach and Bream have fed fairly well despite the changing weather conditions; with fish ranging from a few ounces to 8lb plus float-fishing sport has been good.
Heron Pool did slow down through the frosty period of last week. Catches on this lake have been made up of Carp from a few ounces to 10lb plus and the Wels Catfish between 1lb and 10lb have been feeding well. The general catch has been 10 12 fish in a session.
On the Specimen lake single figure Carp have been the most prolific feeders with a few doubles to low twenties. The best Carp in recent weeks has been a 21lb 2oz specimen Mirror. The Wels Catfish have also started to move with a number of fish to 20lb being banked; one or two better fish have been hooked and lost when taking baits of unsuspecting anglers. Lots of good fish have been seen basking on the sunny days, we await the time they get their heads down to feed properly.

Buy your own fish from our stocks

We undertake fishery management work and consultancy to improve your fishery and supply fish bred at our own fisheries.

Our services include stock check and monitoring, removal where necessary using Seine netting or electro-fishing whichever is appropriate.

All of the fish we sell are bred on sites managed or owned by us and are, therefore, closely monitored for parasites and diseases.

Endeavouring to maintain disease free stocks, we have a strict Bio-security system, and therefore we disinfect all our equipment after its use to minimise the stress to the fish we handle.

This in turn means we are limited in the quantities of fish which we have available each year. Therefore, the earlier the order is placed the easier it can be met in full.

To be able to give a complete service to our customers we are able to offer not only fish but plant life for your ponds and lakes as well. Water Lilies and rooted pond weed are also available.

See our Prices page for listings.
